Mencap is seeking Support Workers for full-time and part time opportunities in Peterborough. You will support day-to-day living, household tasks, shopping, volunteering, arts and crafts, and visits within the community. The role also may include personal care, medication administration, and manual handling.
Key Responsibilities: Support daily living and household activities
Help people manage post and shopping budgets
Accompany people to cafés, groups, and day centres
Support visits to family, friends, and community venues
Encourage independence through person-centred support
Requirements: Adaptable approach to varied support requirements
Enjoyment of working as part of a team
Full flexibility for mornings, evenings, and weekends
Availability for sleep-in shifts
Enhanced DBS check and suitable references
