The Medical Radiation Technologist works in the General Radiography department at Battlefords Union Hospital. The position performs procedures supporting diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology. Communication, interpersonal, and basic computer skills are required for the work.
Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic technical procedures using radiation equipment
Support diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology
Work days, evenings, weekends, and standby shifts
Work independently within the General Radiography department
Requirements: Medical Radiologic Technology Advanced diploma
Certification by Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
Registration with Saskatchewan's College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Professionals
Communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills and independent work ability
