Reporting to the Senior Manager and Clinical Lead, you will deliver social work and attendance services. The position combines individual and group counselling, risk assessment, safety planning, clinical consultation, and family support. It addresses barriers to learning, well-being, and safety.
Key Responsibilities: Implement attendance interventions addressing persistent absenteeism
Create attendance and academic success plans
Provide clinical expertise during VTRA processes
Consult under suicide intervention and prevention protocols
Track statistical data related to interventions
Requirements: Minimum five years assessing children, adolescents, and families
Five years’ mental health and child protection knowledge
Experience providing individual, family, and group counselling
Master’s Degree in Social Work
Current vulnerable sector criminal background check upon hire
Use clinical social work, attendance intervention, and risk assessment expertise to help Durham students achieve safety and success.
