This permanent full time Maintenance Worker position installs, maintains, and repairs commercial underground irrigation systems. You will read detailed plans, estimate requirements, program watering patterns, and operate equipment. The position also assists with grounds, lawns, play fields, trees, shrubs, and playgrounds.
Key Responsibilities: Install and repair commercial underground sprinkler systems
Read plans, drawings, and technical specifications
Estimate and quote irrigation job requirements
Operate and maintain small powered equipment
Prepare grounds and maintain landscape installations
Requirements: Minimum three years' relevant installation and maintenance experience
Demonstrated irrigation design and programming knowledge
Level 1 Irrigation Certificate
Cross Connection Control Certificate
Knowledge of WorkSafeBC and BC safety requirements
