The Tenant Support Worker reports to the Site Manager and follows Lookout’s mission, philosophy, and Code of Ethics. You will provide assistance, education, and skills training to residents. The work emphasizes healthier, more independent living arrangements through rapport, advocacy, and organized support.
Key Responsibilities: Provide assistance, education, and skills training
Maintain long-term relationships supporting tenant basic needs
Recognize changes in guests and respond appropriately
Assist volunteers and practicum students on site
Contribute to health and safety program requirements
Requirements: Diploma in Community Social Service
Ability to work independently and cooperatively
Effective verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to organize and prioritize work
Suitability supporting disadvantaged adults in diverse environments
Use community support, communication, advocacy, and problem-solving abilities to help Lookout residents develop greater independence.
