As Assistant Golf Course Superintendent, you will help manage and maintain all golf course aspects alongside Glen Abbey Golf Club’s management team. The work includes daily course assessments, machinery training, property maintenance, and irrigation repairs. You will also support pesticide and fertilizer practices emphasizing integrated pest management.
Key Responsibilities: Recommend daily golf course condition updates to the Superintendent
Assist management and maintenance of course grounds
Train staff on machinery and safety procedures
Maintain buildings, equipment,
and property professionally
Support pesticide and fertilizer management practices emphasizing IPM
Requirements: Minimum two years formal education in turf management
Available daily at discretionary working hours
Organized and energetic approach to responsibilities
Valid Ontario Landscape Exterminators Licence
Working knowledge of irrigation systems, controls, and repairs
Support Glen Abbey Golf Club’s course standards through turf management, irrigation knowledge, staff training, and maintenance leadership.
