MediSystem Pharmacy, a Shoppers Drug Mart Company, supports long-term care facilities across Canada. The Operations Pharmacist ensures prescriptions meet provincial regulations and company policies while maintaining high-quality pharmaceutical care. Responsibilities include medication checks, patient profiles, interventions, inventory, and staff supervision.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure prescriptions comply with regulations and company policies
Perform technical, therapeutic, and electronic MAR checks
Maintain accurate patient profiles and Kroll documentation




Supervise dispensary staff and support continuous learning
Protect patient privacy and document medication incidents
Requirements: Part A Ontario pharmacist licence in positive standing
Availability for scheduled rotational after-hours services
Two years' pharmacist experience preferred
Experience in long-term care, retail, or hospital pharmacy preferred
Strong accuracy, communication, and interpersonal skills preferred
