Position Type: Contract Contract Duration: 6–9 months

Key Responsibilities

· Manages the Accounting inbox and responds to customer, vendor, banking, and shipment requests
· Handles Accounts Receivable, collections, payment follow-ups, and customer account reconciliations
· Manages customer credit, including credit applications, COD/CIA accounts, and shipment holds/releases
· Processes customer payments and deposits in CAD, USD, and EUR
· Reviews and processes PO and Non-PO vendor invoices, including weekly Shimco invoices
· Prepares weekly payment runs and sets up and maintains vendor records
· Completes daily bank and monthly credit card reconciliations
· Processes employee expense reports
· Completes month-end activities and prepares AR, AP, and other accounting reports
· Prepares credit/debit notes, proforma invoices, and other accounting documentation




· Maintains accurate records and supports ad hoc requests from customers, vendors, departments, and management. Experience
· Minimum 2 years of Canadian work experience in accounting.
· Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) or similar accounting software.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with formulas, reconciliations, and accounting data.
· Strong understanding of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), reconciliations, and month-end accounting activities.
· Solid attention to detail and accuracy. Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work
