Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Parts Counter Person to assist customers and support our hydraulic repair shop. Hands-on hydraulic repair experience with pumps, valves, and motors is mandatory. You must be able to use that knowledge to identify components, understand repair requirements, and source the correct parts The Parts Counter Person
- Hydraulic Repair supports parts availability and responsive service by coordinating counter requests, inventory information, and purchasing activities. This role helps customers and colleagues identify parts, track orders, and keep repair work moving. Duties
- Assist customers and internal teams with parts inquiries, using mechanical knowledge to identify suitable items for hydraulic repair needs.
- Enter orders and inventory updates accurately in ERP systems or CMMS, and coordinate sourcing, procurement, and purchasing with suppliers.
- Identify and source hydraulic parts for pumps, valves, and motors.
- Use parts diagrams, technical manuals, and component numbers to confirm correct parts.
- Prepare quotes, process orders, and follow up on deliveries.




- Work with shop technicians to identify parts required for repairs.
- Receive shipments, maintain inventory, and organize parts.
- Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers. Experience
- Previous hands-on experience repairing hydraulic pumps, valves, and motors is required.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic components and their applications.
- Ability to identify parts and interpret technical diagrams and specifications.
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable using computers for quotes, orders, and inventory.
- Previous parts counter or parts sales experience is an asset.
