Job Summary We are seeking a hardworking, reliable, and safety-conscious General Labourer to join our team at our steel manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will assist with material handling, sorting steel plates and other materials, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and performing various physical tasks as required. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding position that requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and move steel plates, metal products, and other materials as directed.
- Assist with material handling and general labour duties throughout the manufacturing plant.
- Lift, carry, and move materials weighing 50 lbs or more, using proper lifting techniques and equipment when required.
- Perform a variety of physical and repetitive tasks in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Assist production and other departments with duties as assigned.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
- Complete weekly housekeeping duties, including sweeping, removing debris, organizing materials, and keeping workspaces free of obstructions.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).




- Work cooperatively with supervisors and team members to meet daily production and operational requirements.
- Perform other miscellaneous and rigorous duties as requested by management. Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous general labour or manufacturing experience is an asset.
- Ability to lift and move 50 lbs or more safely.
- Comfortable performing physically demanding, repetitive work throughout the shift.
- Ability to work at a fast pace and adapt to changing job requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to take direction.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
