Job Overview The IT Helpdesk Technician serves as the first point of contact for all customer support requests across both the IT Services and Feedlot Technology divisions. This role is responsible for answering incoming calls, creating and triaging tickets, resolving Tier 1 issues, routing work to the correct teams, and ensuring customers receive timely, qualified service. The Helpdesk Technician also supports scheduling, ticket hygiene, and process improvement initiatives when call volume is low. Responsibilities
- *Serve as first point of contact: answer calls promptly & ensure customers feel heard and taken care of.

- *Create, prioritize, and route all support tickets accurately so work reaches the right team without delay.

- *Resolve common Tier 1 technical issues quickly and escalate problems that fall outside scope.

- *Keep service boards, schedules, and ticket documentation clean, current, and moving forward.

- *Support continuous improvement & basic automation efforts to reduce delays and missed work.
* Requirements Required: Hands-on experience supporting everyday computer and phone issues, including logins, email, printers, and basic software, with comfort taking calls and helping non-technical users. Strong people skills and common sense, able to gather the right information, explain things clearly, and keep customers calm and informed. Reliable, organized, and self-directed, able to manage tickets, follow procedures, and escalate issues appropriately without constant supervision. Post-secondary education in IT, such as a diploma in Information Technology, Computer Systems Technology, or a related field. Teamplayer. Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour Work
