Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. In this role, you will provide therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them to relieve stress, alleviate pain, and enhance their overall well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various massage techniques, experience conducting orthopedic and physical assessments for clients presenting with injuries or trauma, a commitment to continuous learning, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
- Assess client conditions by reviewing medical histories, conducting clinical orthopedic/special tests, and evaluating acute or chronic trauma, pain patterns, and postural issues to develop targeted treatment plans.
- Continuously update professional knowledge and techniques by actively participating in continuing education, workshops, and learning new modalities.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments, corrective exercises, or self-care practices.
- Document client sessions accurately, including clinical test findings,



treatments provided, and any changes in client condition.
- Collaborate with other wellness professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Skills
- Assessment & Special Testing: Strong proficiency in performing physical and orthopedic assessment tests to accurately identify soft tissue injuries, trauma-related dysfunction, and postural imbalances.
- Commitment to Growth: A proactive mindset and enthusiasm for studying new techniques, modalities, and evidence-based therapeutic practices.
- Medical & Anatomical Knowledge: Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology as they pertain to massage therapy and injury rehabilitation.
- Client Communication & Empathy: Excellent communication skills to discuss assessment findings, trauma histories, and treatment options with care, professionalism, and clarity.
