Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Dispatcher to coordinate transportation and logistics operations within our supply chain. The ideal candidate will manage freight scheduling, communicate effectively with drivers and clients, and utilize various transportation management systems to ensure timely delivery. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in data entry, and the ability to analyze logistical data to optimize routes and operations. The Dispatcher plays a critical role in maintaining efficient shipping and receiving processes, supporting our commitment to excellent service and operational excellence. Duties
- Coordinate and schedule freight shipments using Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Manage shipping & receiving activities, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing of shipments.
- Communicate with drivers, clients, and internal teams via multi-line phone systems, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Monitor freight movements, troubleshoot issues, and adjust schedules as needed to meet delivery deadlines.
- Perform data entry related to shipments, inventory updates, and tracking information with high accuracy.
- Analyze logistics data to identify opportunities for route optimization, cost reduction, or process improvements.
- Maintain organized records of all dispatch activities for reporting and compliance purposes.




- Collaborate with supply chain teams and 3PL providers to coordinate freight movements efficiently.
- Support shipping & receiving operations by ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety standards. Qualifications
- Proven experience with Transportation Management Systems such as SyteLine or AS400 is preferred.
- Strong understanding of supply chain logistics, freight management, and shipping & receiving processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette.
- Proficiency in data entry, typing speed, and multi-line phone systems for efficient communication.
- Analytical skills to assess logistical data for process improvements.
- Familiarity with freight management concepts within 3PL environments is a plus.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Robust organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
