Assess and treat acute neurology and neurosurgery inpatients as a Physiotherapist with IWK Health in Halifax, working daytime shifts.
Reporting to Rehabilitation Services, this permanent full time Physiotherapist provides assessment, intervention, and follow-up. The position supports pediatric and acute care services through direct, consultative, and monitoring work. Collaboration, evidence-based practice, and Family Centred Care guide service delivery.
Key Responsibilities: Assess acute neurology and neurosurgery inpatients
Provide interventions and follow-up as indicated
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community members
Educate patients, families, staff, and affiliated students




Provide rotational weekend standby and callback coverage
Requirements: Graduate of a Canadian Physiotherapy Association approved program
Nova Scotia physiotherapy practice license
Minimum two years of clinical experience
Current Basic Life Support certification or renewal challenge certificate
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
