Lead invoice processing and payment operations at Hitachi Rail Canada, using SAP and advanced Excel in a finance workplace. This is a fixed-term assignment.
Reporting to the Director of Accounting, the Accounts Payable Lead supervises invoice processing, payment runs, vendor management, and process improvement. The position supports Hitachi Rail Canada Inc. through accurate transactions, reconciliations, controls, and stakeholder communication. It also contributes to Treasury coordination and month-end activities.
Key Responsibilities: Process vendor invoices with approved supporting documentation
Coordinate payment runs and supplier statement reconciliations
Prepare journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations




Maintain SAP vendor master data and resolve payment queries
Implement Accounts Payable procedures, controls, and process improvements
Requirements: University degree specializing in Accounting and Accounts Payable
At least five years in computerized accounting environments
Experience with large accounting software, preferably SAP
Excellent knowledge of Excel, including advanced functions
Ability to meet deadlines with little supervision
Bring Accounts Payable leadership, SAP experience, reconciliations, and payment expertise to Hitachi Rail Canada’s Finance team.
