Teachers work under Principal guidance while following the Education Act, Teacher Qualification Standards, and division policies. The work includes planning, instruction, assessment, relationships, inclusion, and skilled reflection.
Key Responsibilities: Support student learning in CTS and CTF areas
Build productive relationships with students, guardians, and school peers
Apply effective planning, instruction, and assessment practices
Sustain inclusive environments where every student feels welcomed
Develop foundational First Nations, Métis, and Inuit knowledge
Requirements: Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
Bachelor of Education majoring in CTS
Experience teaching Grades 7–12 CTS courses
Understanding of Alberta education legal frameworks
Journeyperson certification is an asset
