Support advanced metering infrastructure implementation for the City of Recent Westminster using functional testing and integration expertise. This hybrid role is temporary full-time.
As an experienced Systems Analyst/Programmer, you will help ensure AMI systems and services satisfy business and user requirements. The six-month assignment includes testing web-based applications, investigating system issues with SQL, and coordinating defect resolution. You will report to the Manager of IT Applications.
Key Responsibilities: Execute functional and regression testing for AMI projects
Perform integration testing for web-based applications
Validate results using SQL and relational databases
Investigate system issues and document defects




Coordinate resolutions with developers and external vendors
Requirements: Computer Science, Engineering, or related bachelor’s degree
Five or more years of Systems Analyst/Programmer experience
Functional and regression testing experience
AMI implementation and end-to-end testing experience
Knowledge of networking, firewalls, cloud services, and servers
Bring integration testing, SQL validation, and AMI implementation experience to this Systems Analyst/Programmer assignment in New Westminster.
