Apply your analytical accounting skills as a full time Accountant supporting financial reporting, reconciliations, and controls at Westview Co-op. This 40-hour role serves Western Canadian communities.
Working under the Senior Accountant, you will perform general accounting functions across evolving business needs. The work includes journal entries, fixed asset and inventory accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, reconciliation, consolidation, and financial statement preparation. You will also assess governance, risk management processes, and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain general ledger records and journal entries
Conduct monthly reconciliations and bank reconciliations
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial management reports




Support budgeting and forecasting analysis
Prepare financial statements and examine accounting records
Requirements: Relevant university degree, preferably Business or Accounting
Zero to three years of relevant accounting experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Class 5 Driver’s License for trading-area travel
