Boaz is ideally located near Lake Guntersville. Job Overview Reporting to the Plant Manager, and working with the production team, responsibilities include maintenance of all mechanical equipment, advanced level automation, and may include supervision of maintenance crew personnel. You will also be responsible for safe and efficient planning, organizing, and undertaking all aspects of maintenance.

Key Responsibilities





· Ensure maintenance is timely and completed without undue risk
· Provide support to the maintenance team; pitching in as needed
· Ensure a preventative maintenance program is followed and revised as needed
· Ensure adherence to standards
· Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
· Maintain high standards of work performance and coordinate down-time
· May be required to manage and approve maintenance spending; and
· Recommend improvement initiatives and oversee implementation of special projects, including overseeing sub-contractors. Requirements
· Preference will be given to those with a minimum of 5 years of experience as an industrial millwright; preferably in wood manufacturing
· Red Seal Millwright or Equivalent Experience
· Highly adaptable, with solid interpersonal skills
· Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
· Demonstrated ability in improving reliability
· Experience in developing preventative maintenance plans is an asset
· Problem solving, organization, planning and decision –making skills.
