GreenTee Richmond is seeking a Mandarin and English speaking Finance Manager to oversee the accounting and financial management of our indoor golf, restaurant, and hospitality operation. The facility combines golf simulators, private suites, membership services, an academy, a premium golf shop, and Crystal Jade Palace restaurant. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible to prepare financial reports, process payroll, manage cash flow, process daily cashouts, tip distribution, and coordinate tax filings. You will work closely with other department leaders to maintain accurate records, control costs, and support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Manage month-end and year-end closing, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Manage daily cashout reconciliations, and tip distribution
- Monitor cash flow, forecast funding requirements, and plan payment schedules
- Process and submit payroll, maintain accurate payroll records, and complete related remittances and reporting
- Prepare and file applicable tax returns and remittances, coordinating with external accountants as required
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including payment runs, outstanding balances, and collections
- Review daily revenue reconciliations and investigate discrepancies with department managers
- Maintain accurate accounting for membership fees, annual dues, deposits, prepaid services, and simulator credits
- Track revenue, expenses, and profitability across golf operations, food and beverage, retail,



and other departments
- Monitor inventory accounting, cost of goods sold, and capital expenditures
- Establish financial controls, approval procedures, and secure handling of financial information
- Coordinate with external accountants, banking partners, and other financial service providers
- Provide financial analysis and practical recommendations to the General Manager and ownership Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience managing accounting and financial reporting, preferably in hospitality, golf, recreation, or a business with multiple revenue streams
- Education in accounting, finance, or a related field; a CPA designation is an asset
- Experience with Canadian payroll, tax remittances, budgeting, and cash flow management
- Strong knowledge of accounting software, payroll systems, and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to reconcile information across point-of-sale, booking, membership, and accounting systems
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet recurring deadlines
- Professional judgment and discretion when handling confidential information
- Explicit communication skills and the ability to explain financial results to operational managers Compensation:
- Competitive compensation base salary of $70,000-$85,000 based on experience
- 10 days annual paid holiday and up to 5 sick days
