Job Summary A Richmond-based organization in the aerospace and defense industry is seeking a permanent, full-time Intermediate Accountant to join an established accounting team.
This is a solid opportunity for an accounting professional who is building their CPA path and wants hands-on exposure to job costing, tax filings, billing, financial reporting, reconciliations, and operational analysis.
Key Responsibilities - Prepare and manage monthly job costing for projects, ensuring accurate allocation and reporting of costs. - Generate billing invoices for project work and maintenance work orders. - Complete monthly tax filings and support compliance-related accounting activities. - Compile, analyze, and report monthly financial and operational results.
- Perform weekly and monthly analysis of operational costs, variances, and trends. - Reconcile multi-currency bank accounts, credit card accounts, and financial transactions while resolving discrepancies.
