Support CMHA Edmonton’s mental health services through facilities maintenance supervision, building-system troubleshooting, and accurate operational records.
This Facilities Maintenance Supervisor coordinates building operations, repairs, inspections, and site upkeep across assigned CMHA Edmonton locations. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Facilities and Housing Services, the role leads maintenance staff and works with housing operations, program teams, contractors, and external providers. Responsibilities include HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life-safety systems, work orders, budgets, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities: Plan building maintenance, inspections, repairs, and grounds upkeep
Diagnose deficiencies and escalate urgent safety or capital issues
Coordinate heating, ventilation, cooling, pumps, controls, and emergency equipment
Maintain operational logs,



work orders, reports, and asset records
Collaborate with teams to minimize disruption to residents
Requirements: Maintenance Management Qualified certificate or Fourth Class certification
Progressive commercial or multi-residential maintenance experience
Working knowledge of Alberta building, fire, and OHS codes
Strong troubleshooting, reporting, organization, and communication skills
Availability for after-hours emergencies, evenings, and weekends
Bring facilities supervision, technical troubleshooting, compliance knowledge, and service coordination to CMHA Edmonton’s housing and community operations.
