As a Building Operations Technician with AWS Infrastructure Services, you will oversee equipment supporting Amazon data centers. Your work covers electrical, mechanical, and fire and life safety systems. You will also serve as a technical resource while helping drive innovation and reduce facility operating costs.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee maintenance of electrical equipment within data centers
Maintain mechanical and fire and life safety equipment
Respond to electrical and mechanical issues affecting availability
Support generators, switchgear, UPS, PDU, and cooling systems
Operate as a technical resource for Amazon facilities
Requirements: At least two years of relevant work experience
Ability to obtain and maintain Reliability Status clearance
Ability to work at heights and from ladders
Ability to manipulate small wires and objects
Ability to walk across uneven job site terrain
