Candidates need post-graduate specialty education in Nephrology, though interested applicants may pursue specialty education through Fraser Health sponsorship. The nurse coordinates care and works with patients, families, physicians, and health professionals.
Key Responsibilities: Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families
Develop, implement, and modify patient care plans
Coordinate nursing care and delegate tasks appropriately




Collaborate on changing conditions and care-plan adjustments
Provide patient and family health teaching
Requirements: Approved School of Nursing graduation
Current Registered Nurse registration with BCCNM
Two years of recent related clinical nursing experience
Post-graduate coursework or certification for the clinical area
Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication abilities
Use renal nursing expertise, patient education, and inter-professional collaboration to support care within Fraser Health’s hemodialysis services.
