- $130K CAD Posted Today ## Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Low Latency Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have robust Java development expertise, hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud, and a solid understanding of application performance optimization. You will collaborate with architects, business analysts, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions while contributing to technical design decisions and engineering best practices. ##

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications.
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
- Lead solution design discussions, code reviews, and performance optimization initiatives.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Design and implement APIs, middleware integrations, and event-driven solutions.
- Ensure application scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and production issues.
- Perform database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Establish coding standards, development best practices, and quality guidelines.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and provide technical guidance.
- Participate in CI/CD implementation and DevOps-driven development practices.
- Support cloud-based deployments and application modernization initiatives.
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives. ## Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in Java application development.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.




- Strong understanding of software design principles and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with application performance optimization, scalability, and reliability.
- Experience with database design, SQL, and query optimization.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex application issues and support production environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders. ## Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing low-latency or performance-critical applications.
- Knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, JVM tuning, and garbage collection optimization.
- Exposure to event-driven architectures and messaging technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
