Experienced Welder / Fabricator – Shop & Mobile Maintenance Wright Way Welding & Fabrication Inc. Smiths Falls, Ontario Wright Way Welding & Fabrication Inc. is looking for experienced, motivated welders to join our growing team. We are hiring for both a Shop Welder/Fabricator and a Mobile Maintenance Welder. We are specifically looking for individuals with strong fabrication skills and experience working on aggregate equipment, crushing and screening plants, conveyors, and heavy equipment. Candidates with a background in industrial maintenance, equipment repair, and structural fabrication are strongly encouraged to apply. Shop Welder / Fabricator The successful candidate will work in our shop on a variety of custom fabrication, repair, and maintenance projects.

Responsibilities:

- Perform custom fabrication and welding according to job specifications.
- Repair and modify heavy equipment, buckets, attachments, and industrial components.
- Fabricate and repair structural steel components.
- Complete equipment repairs and rebuilds.
- Read and interpret drawings, measurements, and job specifications.
- Operate shop equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. 2. Mobile Maintenance Welder The successful candidate will travel to customer sites to perform welding, fabrication, and maintenance repairs on industrial and heavy equipment.

Responsibilities:

- Perform on-site welding, fabrication, and equipment repairs.
- Complete maintenance and repairs on aggregate equipment, including crushers, screens, conveyors, and related systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide practical repair solutions.
- Perform structural repairs and modifications in the field.
- Work independently while maintaining communication with the team.
- Safely operate welding equipment, service vehicles, and related tools.




- Travel to customer sites and work outdoors in varying conditions. Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a welder and fabricator.
- Strong fabrication experience is essential.
- Experience working on aggregate equipment and heavy equipment is highly preferred.
- Experience with industrial maintenance, equipment repair, or crushing and screening operations is a significant asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation. For the mobile position, a clean driver's abstract is required. Availability for occasional evening and weekend work is an asset. Welding & Technical Skills Experience with the following is an asset:
- SMAW (stick welding)
- FCAW (flux-core welding)
- GMAW (MIG welding)
- TIG welding
- Air carbon arc gouging
- Oxygen lance cutting
- Aluminum welding and spool gun operation
