Cherrys Desserts & Cafe is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused team members to join our growing team in Sarnia We are seeking individuals who enjoy working with food, creating delicious sandwiches and desserts, and providing excellent customer service. Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches, wraps, crepes, waffles and other desserts according to our recipes and quality standards.
- Provide friendly, professional, and welcoming customer service.
- Take customer orders, process payments, and handle cash and debit/credit transactions accurately.
- Operate the POS system and maintain accurate order details.
- Keep the kitchen, food preparation areas, equipment, tables, and customer areas clean and organized.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
- Restock ingredients, monitor supplies, and assist with inventory when required.
- Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining food quality and presentation.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning equipment and securing the store.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations. Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in the food service, restaurant,



cafe, bakery, or fast-food industry is required.
- Experience preparing sandwiches, desserts, crepes, waffles, or other food items is an asset.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Valuable cash-handling skills and experience using a POS system.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders.
- Reliable, punctual, responsible, and willing to learn.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Must be available to work evening and late-night shifts, as well as weekends and holidays when scheduled.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
