Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and motivated Rehab Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work under the supervision and guidance of an Occupational Therapist (OT), primarily supporting clients with ICBC claims. The role involves assisting with the implementation of individualized rehabilitation programs, encouraging clients throughout their recovery journey, and helping them achieve their functional goals and highest possible level of independence.

Key Responsibilities
Client Care and Rehabilitation
- Assist with implementing individualized rehabilitation programs as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Support clients in activities designed to improve their functional abilities, daily living skills, and overall well-being.
- Encourage and motivate clients to participate in rehabilitation activities and work toward their recovery goals.
- Observe, monitor, and document client progress, reporting any changes, concerns, or challenges to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Follow established care plans, professional guidance, and applicable safety protocols. Team Collaboration and Communication
- Communicate regularly with the supervising Occupational Therapist regarding client progress and rehabilitation needs.




- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support coordinated client care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of rehabilitation activities and client outcomes.
- Participate in team discussions and follow recommendations provided by the supervising Occupational Therapist. Ideal Candidate

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
- Reliable, professional, and attentive to client needs.
