About the Role
This role is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of BluWave-ai's suite of clean-tech products. You will design, build, and maintain automated test suites across API, performance, and mobile layers, working closely with cross-functional teams
- including backend developers, data scientists, and smart grid engineers, to validate end-to-end functionality of our real-time energy optimization platform and EV fleet applications.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automated API regression test suites for RESTful microservices using Bruno, with integration into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and test management tools (Xray).
- Plan and execute performance, load, stress, and soak tests against backend APIs using Locust, analyzing results and resource utilization through Grafana and Prometheus dashboards.
- Build and maintain cross-platform mobile UI test automation for iOS and Android applications using Maestro.
- Integrate automated test suites into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, configuring scheduled regression runs, branch-gated executions and team chat alerting.
- Perform manual exploratory and regression testing of web dashboards and mobile applications across sprint and release cycles.
- Investigate and root-cause complex defects involving data rendering, time-series calculations, timezone handling, and edge-case production anomalies.
- Maintain and improve QA documentation and testing frameworks. Knowledge, Experience,



and SkillsRequired Qualifications
• 1+ years of experience in software quality engineering, with hands-on API test automation and manual testing experience.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Bruno or Postman/Newman.
- Expertise in planning and executing manual test cases.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), Docker, and Git branching workflows.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid, multi-disciplinary engineering environment. Assets / Nice-to-Haves
• Experience with mobile UI test automation frameworks (Maestro, Appium, WebdriverIO).
- Familiarity with observability platforms (Grafana, Prometheus, Graylog).
- Familiarity with test management tools such as Xray for Jira.
- Exposure to smart grid concepts, telemetry data, energy management systems, or EV fleet analytics.
- Understanding of RESTful API architecture, HTTP protocols, and common authentication mechanisms (OAuth 2.0, JWT).
