Salary:
$70,000–$100,000 annually We are looking for a skilled Global Commodity Buyer with experience in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and commodity management within the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will bring solid knowledge of steel sourcing and metal stampings , ideally within a Tier 1 automotive environment, and the ability to manage supplier relationships, analyze costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage strategic sourcing activities for assigned commodities.
- Lead supplier negotiations, RFQs, and cost analysis.
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships.
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities and improve purchasing performance.




- Support supplier development and evaluate supplier performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet quality, cost, and delivery objectives. What We're Looking For:
- Experience in commodity purchasing, strategic sourcing, or procurement.
- Strong steel and metal stampings sourcing experience.
- Background in automotive manufacturing, preferably Tier 1.
- Knowledge of supplier negotiations, cost analysis, and RFQ processes.
- Plastics and resin sourcing experience is an asset.
