PRIVATE ISLAND PROPERTY & GUEST SERVICES ATTENDANT Full-Time Position | Private Island, British Columbia Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and versatile individual to join our team on a private island in British Columbia. This is a hands-on, varied position suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining a beautiful property, and is comfortable assisting with guest services. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to take on a wide range of responsibilities. No two days will be the same.

Key Responsibilities
Property Care & General Maintenance
- Wash, detail, and maintain vehicles, including cars, trucks, and utility vehicles.
- Wash windows, glass doors, and exterior surfaces.
- Perform leaf blowing, sweeping, pressure washing, and general outdoor cleaning.
- Keep pathways, driveways, patios, and outdoor guest areas clean and presentable.
- Assist with seasonal property preparation and general upkeep.
- Identify and report maintenance issues as they arise. Guest Services & Hospitality
- Assist with guest arrivals and departures, including luggage handling and transportation.
- Drive guests and staff as required.
- Assist with setting up outdoor spaces, activities, and guest amenities.
- Provide hot tub preparation, cleaning, and servicing.
- Ensure guest areas are clean, organized, stocked, and ready for use.
- Respond to guest requests in a friendly, professional, and discreet manner.
- Assist with special events, gatherings, and other hospitality needs. General Operations & Support
- Refill, exchange, and safely handle propane tanks.
- Assist with deliveries, loading, unloading, and transporting supplies.
- Operate utility vehicles and other property equipment.




- Run errands and assist with transportation and logistical needs.
- Support other departments and team members as required.
- Perform a variety of additional tasks to ensure the smooth daily operation of the property. Qualifications & Skills
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in property maintenance, hospitality, landscaping, or a similar hands-on role is an asset.
- Comfortable operating vehicles, basic tools, and outdoor maintenance equipment.
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and performing outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Friendly, professional, and service-oriented attitude.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Respectful of guest privacy and confidentiality.
- Willingness to learn new skills and assist wherever needed. Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is practical, dependable, and genuinely enjoys being helpful. This role requires someone who can comfortably move between property maintenance tasks and providing a high standard of guest service.
