The successful candidate for this position must possess current academic and qualified preparation and recent teaching experience in this subject and at various levels.

The students in all classes at McRoberts will range from those who are highly skilled in a curricular area to those with limited language abilities, exposure, and awareness. A demonstrated ability to engage with students from diverse cultural and language backgrounds and with a wide variety of learning needs and styles is required.

Recent work experience must reflect a commitment to collaboration and teamwork and a willingness to work closely with other colleagues in a qualified and supportive environment.

An interest in and commitment to the school-wide literacy plan is expected.

McRoberts Secondary is a dual track English/French Immersion school.
