This Director role provides dedicated research capacity and strategic leadership for Corporate Underwriting. You will translate market insights into recommendations, evaluate new segments, and assess portfolio performance. Success requires robust stakeholder influence, advanced risk assessment, and knowledge of insurance functions including claims and reinsurance.
Key Responsibilities: Translate research and market insights into business recommendations
Assess emerging risks and evaluate new market segments
Analyze portfolio performance and profitable growth opportunities
Build alignment across underwriting, claims, actuarial,



and distribution
Advance early-stage opportunities through ambiguity and execution
Requirements: Minimum 10 years in commercial property and casualty insurance
Experience serving mid-market to large business
Strong knowledge of policy contracts and underwriting guidelines
Established broker, partner, and market insight network
Strong project governance, reporting, prioritization, and resource management
Use research, market intelligence, and commercial risk expertise to influence Northbridge’s corporate underwriting growth agenda.
