Akita Drilling is seeking an experienced Oilfield Rig Manager for full time, permanent operations based in Nisku, Alberta.
Working across challenging outdoor environments, you will support oilfield projects in Duvernay and Montney. Akita Drilling operates a Canadian fleet of 22 rigs. The company values integrity, respect, commitment, safety, and career advancement for experienced oilfield professionals.
Key Responsibilities: Support operations for Duvernay and Montney drilling projects
Manage responsibilities in outdoor working conditions
Contribute to safety-focused field operations
Work effectively in team-oriented environments
Maintain commitment to a drug-free workplace
Requirements: Previous experience as a Rig Manager
Safety-focused approach to oilfield work
Ability to work outdoors in various conditions
H2S Alive certification preferred
Class 5 Driver’s License preferred
