This permanent part time Medical Care Aide works at ABI 91st Avenue under the Program Manager or designate. You will assist guests whose physical health may be deteriorating, supporting activities of daily living and instrumental activities in a residential setting. The work emphasizes guest needs, progress, boundaries, and health and safety.
Key Responsibilities: Provide personalized support for varying care levels
Give feedback about guest medical needs and progress
Maintain daily logs, statistics, reports, and care documentation
Participate in guest-focused social and recreational activities




Maintain guest and worker boundaries during support
Requirements: At least one year of recent related experience
Two years’ residential care or mental health experience preferred
Ability to recognize guest changes and establish rapport
Ability to manage workload independently and cooperatively
Conflict resolution and crisis intervention skills
Use care planning, observation, communication, and crisis intervention skills supporting guests with complex needs at Lookout.
