At Prince County Hospital, this full time permanent position supports Inpatient Mental Health services within an interdisciplinary team. You will contribute to assessment, treatment, and program delivery while supporting clients and families through individual, family, and group interventions. The work promotes behaviour change, personal growth, condition management, and recovery.
Key Responsibilities: Facilitate group sessions using pre-developed program materials
Monitor clients and provide one-to-one supervision when required
Implement behaviour management strategies from team-developed plans
Document interactions, observations,



and program participation promptly
Record incidents and safety concerns through PSMS
Requirements: Relevant certified college program or social sciences university degree
Complete employer-provided safety and crisis response training
Reliable motor vehicle and safe driving record
Availability for rotating days, evenings, nights, and weekends
Good previous performance and attendance record
Support mental health recovery at Health PEI through group facilitation, client monitoring, documentation, and compassionate crisis-informed practice.
