This Director of Care reports to the General Manager and oversees quality, staffing, budgets, documentation, and daily clinical operations. The role coordinates interdisciplinary care and service plans while supporting resident independence, autonomy, and personal choice. Key Responsibilities: Oversee delivery of compliant, evidence-based care programs
Coordinate interdisciplinary care and service planning
Determine staffing levels and support qualified hiring
Monitor budgets, expenditures, audits,



and performance indicators
Maintain clinical records, reports, and documentation systems
Requirements: One year nursing leadership in residential care or mental health
Current British Columbia nursing registration through BCCNM
Knowledge of aging issues and chronic diseases
Financial oversight skills in residential care
Robust organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
Use clinical leadership, financial oversight, and care coordination expertise to direct residential services for Optima Living residents.
