As part of the AML Business Effectiveness, Risk Insights, and Optimization team, you will assess regulatory developments and transaction monitoring effectiveness. You will collaborate with Capital Markets Risk, Technology, FIU, AML, and business partners. Your work will address process gaps, risk exposures, and implementation priorities across Enterprise AML.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee data-driven strategies across the monitoring value stream
Identify coverage and process enhancement opportunities
Collaborate across risk, technology, FIU, AML, and business teams




Represent Business Effectiveness in cross-functional projects
Coordinate support for EAML senior management initiatives
Requirements: Knowledge of AML regulations and practices
Solid grasp of capital markets products and delivery channels
Relevant degree, diploma, or equivalent experience
Solid analytical skills and problem-solving judgment
ACAMS or Lean Six Sigma accreditation considered an asset
Use capital markets understanding, AML expertise, and collaborative influence to guide CIBC risk insights and compliance improvements.
