Terra Machine Inc. is hiring a full time Experienced CNC Machinist in Grande Prairie, AB. We’re looking for someone who can work independently, solve problems and take pride in the quality of the parts they produce. Demonstrated ability matters more to us than a trade certificate. Journeyman certification is not required, and experienced machinists without a ticket are encouraged to apply. 99% of the machining work is CNC, with occasional manual repair work. There is also potential for this role to include design and drafting work. Starting pay: CAD $38–$50 per hour, based on relevant machining experience and demonstrated job-related skills.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with scheduling flexibility available.
- CAD/CAM software: Fusion 360, Inventor and HSMWorks.
- CNC controls: Haas and Fagor.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret models, drawings, tolerances and job specifications.
- Plan machining operations and select appropriate tooling, workholding and cutting parameters.
- Set up and operate CNC machines.
- Complete occasional manual machining repair work.




- Produce parts to the required dimensions, tolerances and surface finishes.
- Inspect your work using precision measuring equipment.
- Troubleshoot machining problems and communicate issues affecting quality or completion.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and take care of machines and tooling.
- Follow safe work procedures. What we’re looking for:
- Demonstrated CNC machining experience.
- Strong setup, machining and inspection skills.
- Fusion 360 experience is a strong asset.
- The ability to take a job from drawing through setup, machining and final inspection.
- Sound judgment, practical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliability, clear communication and the ability to work well with others. Pay: $38.00-$50.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
