Key Responsibilities
- Transport shipping containers (20', 40', 53') to and from local rail terminals (CN / CPKC) and customer facilities.
- Safely handle local 53' dry van dock-to-dock pickups and deliveries.
- Perform thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and chassis/trailer inspections (DVIR).
- Properly secure container chassis twist locks, trailer doors, seals, and cargo loads.
- Accurately manage rail gate passes, interchange receipts, delivery receipts, and electronic logbooks (ELD).
- Comply with all National Safety Code (NSC), Alberta Transportation, and rail terminal safety protocols.
Experience:
- Commercial driving: 2 years (required) Work
