Experienced Level II Dental AssistantPeterborough Family Dentistry | Peterborough, ON Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm $28-$32 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications Peterborough Family Dentistry is looking for an experienced, certified Level II Dental Assistant to join our team. We’re looking for someone with excellent chairside skills, a confident and accurate approach to taking dental impressions, and a warm manner that helps patients feel comfortable. You’ll work alongside an experienced dentist providing general dentistry and same-day emergency care.

Responsibilities:
Provide efficient four-handed chairside assistance during restorative, surgical, and general dental procedures. Take accurate, high-quality dental impressions with confidence. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials, and anticipate the dentist’s needs. Take dental radiographs within your qualifications. Follow infection prevention, sterilization, and instrument-reprocessing protocols. Maintain accurate patient records and coordinate laboratory cases. Help patients feel at ease and explain pre




- and post-treatment instructions as directed. Keep clinical supplies organized and treatment rooms running smoothly.

Qualifications:
Level II Dental Assistant certification required. Previous clinical dental assisting experience required; two or more years preferred. Robust practical experience taking dental impressions is essential. Appropriate radiography qualifications and current CPR certification. ClearDent experience is an asset. Excellent organization, attention to detail, and communication skills. A reliable, friendly team member who can work efficiently in a busy practice. Compensation:$28-$32 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated clinical skills.
