The Licensed Assistant Manager partners with the store manager to diagnose business performance and strengthen sales results. You guide associates, support staffing and recruiting, and maintain positive relationships with doctors. Your responsibilities include optical product recommendations, accurate digital measurements, eyewear dispensing, and adjustments.
Key Responsibilities: Partner with the store manager on business diagnosis
Lead associates through knowledge, training, and guidance
Follow staffing guidelines and support high-caliber hiring




Recommend lenses based on prescriptions and vision needs
Perform accurate measurements and eyewear adjustments
Requirements: Current valid provincial Opticianry license
One or more years of supervisory experience
Strong command of English communication
Familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators
Demonstrated selling ability and problem-solving skills
Combine optical product knowledge, licensed patient service, and associate development while supporting For Eyes store performance in Toronto.
