This engineer will advance Equinix’s engagement with the open-source community and help transform its service portfolio. The position focuses on AI Inference Networking, network and security principles, reverse proxies, APIs, and platform technologies. You will collaborate with product management, technical project managers, stakeholders, and global developers.
Key Responsibilities: Work on AI Inference open-source software
Engage organizations including CNCF and Linux Foundation
Analyze current technologies against roadmap goals




Recommend technologies for features and platforms
Follow engineering design and development standards
Requirements: 5+ years building resilient SDN network infrastructure
Experience with HTTP/1.1, HTTP/2, gRPC, and SNI routing
Knowledge of IAM, VPCs, peering, and VPN solutions
Hands-on API and network automation skills
Programming experience in Go, Python, C/C++, or Rust
Bring network infrastructure, cloud security, and open-source experience to Equinix’s AI Inference Networking transformation.
