Suncor seeks a Field Operations Supervisor for Base Plant in Fort McMurray, where visible leadership supports safe, reliable utility operations. The schedule rotates six on and six off.
As Team Lead, you will coach and develop a high-performing, unionized operations workforce. The work combines operational oversight, employee competency, process safety, and cross-functional troubleshooting. You will also prepare logical job plans and sequence work tasks to address operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Support crew safety, development, and competency
Foster employee engagement through visible field leadership
Ensure applicable boiler safety codes and acts are implemented
Engage resources to correct equipment and operating issues




Investigate requirements and sequence job plan tasks
Requirements: Five or more years of field operations or related experience
Experience in utilities or the oil and gas industry
Leadership experience within a complex operating setting
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma
Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
Bring field supervision, crew development, and operational troubleshooting skills to Suncor’s safety-sensitive Fort McMurray team.
