Build LLM-powered product features at Remarcable using Python, RAG, embeddings, and production APIs across data-rich contractor workflows.
As an AI Engineer, you will design, ship, monitor, and improve machine learning capabilities for procurement, inventory, accounting, and supplier data. You will work with Product, Data, and Full Stack Engineering teams while reporting to the VP of Engineering. The work spans intelligent invoice matching, document extraction, catalog normalization, purchasing suggestions, and an internal AI assistant. You will help establish evaluation, infrastructure, and guardrail patterns for future AI features.
Key Responsibilities: Design and ship LLM-powered features across Remarcable’s platform
Build RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, embeddings, and vector search
Own prototypes, production rollouts, monitoring,



and iteration
Integrate model providers based on quality, latency, and cost
Create evaluations, tests, and privacy guardrails for AI features
Requirements: Four-plus years of software engineering experience
One to two years shipping LLM or machine learning features
Robust Python, production API, SQL, and data skills
Experience with LLM APIs, prompt design, RAG, and embeddings
Cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, and model evaluation experience
Apply production engineering judgment to LLM features, retrieval systems, evaluations, and AI infrastructure at Remarcable.
