Overview The Home Support Worker provides practical, respectful assistance that helps people maintain comfort, dignity, and independence in their homes. The role combines personal support with everyday household tasks, adapting care to each person’s needs and preferences. Duties
- Assist with patient care, senior care, and caregiving, including support for individuals with disabilities and people living with dementia.
- Prepare meals, help with cleaning, and provide home care that supports a secure, comfortable living environment.
- Support medication administration and daily routines in line with the person’s care plan and established instructions.
- Provide compassionate support for people receiving hospice care, and communicate relevant observations to colleagues.
