Seeking candidates for the following permanent part time schedule: 4 week rotation:
- Week 1: Sat 3-11PM, Sun 3-11PM
- Week 2: Fri 3-11PM
- Week 3: Mon 3-11PM, Sat 7AM-3PM, Sun 7AM-3PM
- Week 4: Thurs 3-11PM Position Summary: The Shift RPN provides skilled care to residents in a retirement home setting as needed; supervises relevant staff within the home during the assigned shift and ensures there is adequate staffing for all shifts not immediately accessible by the Care Coordinator. All work shall be done in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values of the Home, Resident Bill of Rights, applicable legislation and regulations, corporate policies and procedures and collective agreements.

Qualifications:

· Valid Registered Practical Nurse registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario. Must provide proof of registration annually. (required)
· Long Term Care and supervisory experience are assets
· Demonstrated proficiency in operation and use of a computer, related technologies and software required for the role(s)




· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
· Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to address conflict positively
