Lead Windsor Public Schools athletics as Acting Athletic Director, coordinating sports programs, facilities, coaches, and student participation districtwide. This is a 0.5FTE assignment.

Reporting under the High School Principal, the Acting Athletic Director manages athletic activities from November 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. The position evaluates programs, coordinates events, and promotes equal participation. It also supports compliance with Connecticut regulations, Title IX, and C.I.A.C. rules.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise district athletic programs with school and district administrators
- Coordinate athletic schedules, facilities, transportation, staffing, and communications
- Manage sports budgets, finances, equipment, uniforms, and supplies
- Recruit, select, supervise, and evaluate athletic coaches




- Address athletic concerns and document accidents, injuries, and participation

Requirements:

- Connecticut State Certification in a related area
- Intermediate Supervisor and Administrator certification number 092 required
- Bachelor's and Master's degrees in a related field
- Knowledge of athletics, physical fitness, laws, and regulations
- Motor Vehicle Operator's License or own transportation
