Overview The HVAC Red Seal Technician performs installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance work on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This hands-on role applies mechanical knowledge to support safe, reliable equipment operation and responsive service. Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment, using schematics to identify faults and guide work.
- Service boilers and appliances, and complete related plumbing and welding tasks as appropriate to the work.
- Use construction and mechanic experience to support installations, repairs, and maintenance while following established safety practices.
- Communicate findings and work completed so colleagues can coordinate service and customers understand equipment needs. Skills Required: Practical HVAC, maintenance,



and mechanical knowledge to inspect systems, troubleshoot issues, and complete repairs using schematics. Clear communication and careful attention to safe work practices support dependable service and effective coordination with colleagues. Preferred: Mechanic experience, appliance repair, boiler, plumbing, welding, and construction experience can strengthen your ability to handle varied equipment and job-site tasks.
