T3 Care Inc. is developing a staff-model residential home in Brantford, Ontario, dedicated to providing a protected, structured, and supportive environment for children and youth aged 5–17. Our program focuses on individualized care, emotional well-being, positive relationships, and personal development. Position Overview We are seeking compassionate and dependable Child and Youth Care Workers with at least one year of relevant experience, preferably in residential care, group homes, child welfare, or similar support settings.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care, supervision, and emotional support.
- Implement individualized Plans of Care and daily routines.
- Support children and youth with emotional, behavioural and developmental needs.
- Apply trauma-informed and strength-based approaches.
- Use approved non-physical crisis prevention and de-escalation techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation and incident reports.
- Promote safety, independence, and positive relationships.
- Follow safeguarding and emergency response procedures. Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of relevant experience supporting children or youth.
- Relevant education or training in Child and Youth Care, Social Service Work, Developmental Services or a related field,



consistent with applicable role requirements.
- UMAB (Understanding and Managing Aggressive Behaviour) certification or equivalent crisis prevention and de-escalation training, with competence in non-physical intervention techniques, will be an added advantage.
- Standard First Aid and CPR Level C/AED certification.
- Ability to complete a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills. Compensation and Engagement $27–$35 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Flexible shifts are available. Applicants may indicate their availability and accept or decline offered shifts. T3 Care Inc. is evaluating an independent contractor model. Where legally appropriate, contractors will work under a written service agreement, submit monthly invoices and maintain their own professional liability insurance. Final engagement classification will be confirmed before services commence.
